About the Role
NBCUniversal is looking for a Manager, Employee Relations to support a fair, inclusive workplace by investigating team member concerns thoroughly and impartially across union and non-union environments.
What You'll Do
- Autonomously conduct in-depth interviews and investigations of sensitive, complex allegations; prepare detailed reports and confer with Legal and operations leadership
- Develop standardized processes for conducting, tracking, and documenting employee relations cases
- Analyze data to identify issue trends and proactive mitigation opportunities, including training
- Advise on revisions to team member programs, policies, and practices
- Provide counseling and guidance to operations leadership and HR Business Partners on complex ER issues
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of state/federal employment and labor law and compliance requirements
- 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience including employee relations
- 3+ years handling complex employee investigations in partnership with legal counsel
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Labor Relations, or related field required; experience in union/represented environments or hospitality highly preferred
Pay & Benefits
$95,000–$110,000/yr, plus NBCUniversal's benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and more).
