About the Role
NBCUniversal is looking for an Assistant Manager, Entertainment Audio/Video to lead onsite design implementation, installation, operation, and maintenance of AV systems for Entertainment projects — marquee events, park theatrical entertainment, press events, and special projects.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate with the AV Creative team, vendors, and partners on implementation, maintenance, and operation of AV designs
- Represent the AV Tech team in project meetings, facilitating stakeholder communication and planning
- Review and coordinate AV system documentation, drawings, and project deliverables
- Track and maintain inventory of Entertainment Technical AV equipment; submit and track logistics requests
- Monitor technical performance via show reports and maintenance documentation
- Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, and lifecycle planning for AV equipment
- Provide day-to-day leadership to AV personnel during installs, rehearsals, live operations, and strikes
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of theatrical/entertainment audio/video design, implementation, or production experience
- Extensive theme park experience with live theatrical entertainment AV production
- Strong working knowledge of Q-SYS, QLab, Reaper, Mainstage, Pro Tools, Dante, and relevant hardware (Yamaha, Allen & Heath, QSC, etc.)
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
Pay & Benefits
$70,000–$80,000/yr, plus NBCUniversal's benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and more).
