LVN II - Nephrology, On-Call

About the Role

LVN II — Nephrology, on-call/call-in, day shift, at Kaiser Permanente Panorama City. Under direct supervision of an RN or physician, provides nursing care within the legal scope of practice and established standards.

What You'll Do

• Perform patient care functions within scope of competency, per physician/health-care professional orders
• Assist with special procedures, minor surgical procedures, and diagnostic exams
• Prepare and administer medications per physician order and established protocols
• Take vital signs, perform venipuncture/finger sticks, administer first aid and basic treatments
• Document patient information, assessments, and nursing procedures per protocol
• Provide patient education and maintain patient confidentiality

Qualifications

Current California LVN license and relevant clinical certifications per Kaiser Permanente policy.
