About the role
The Loan Phone Center Officer handles loan inquiries by phone, processes them to completion, and builds member relationships by identifying financial needs.
What you'll do
- Cultivate member relationships and recommend appropriate products/services
- Sell depository products, consumer loans, insurance, and real estate loans
- Use credit scoring and sound lending practices to make lending decisions
- Process member loan applications, funding, and payment setup
- Conduct fraud prevention through interviews and documentation review
Requirements
- High School/GED minimum, Bachelor's preferred
- Minimum 3 years' experience (4 preferred) as a loan officer or in financial services; call center experience a plus
- Actively registered or able to obtain NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator status within 6 months
- Strong oral/written communication and multi-tasking skills
Schedule
Hybrid.
