Disney Experiences Technology builds immersive digital experiences for Disney's Parks and Resorts, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, and Disney Vacation Club — including the Online Platform Ticketing Products (Tickets, Annual Passes, Special Events, Park Reservations) for Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
What you'll do
- Own backend Java services end-to-end: design, build, code-review, test, load-test, launch, and monitor
- Collaborate with senior engineers, product owners, and TPMs to achieve product and business goals
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Own analysis, design, debugging, and modification of software for cloud and internet-related systems
- Lead projects supporting infrastructure and technology platforms
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend development/software engineering experience in a large enterprise environment using Java/Docker/Spring Framework
- AWS managed service design and implementation experience (ECS, S3, Lambdas, RDS)
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and data structures; comfortable in an agile environment
