About the role
The Director, Global Export Controls & Technical Governance is the principal corporate authority over Disney's enterprise export control framework, responsible for identifying and mitigating national security, dual-use technology, and geopolitical compliance risk across all business units. Reports to the Executive Director, Global Trade Services and Customs Operations.
What you'll do
- Formulate and execute the enterprise export controls strategy and governance standards, including the Trade Component of the Disney Code of Conduct
- Design a scalable compliance framework for dual-use technology, restricted party screening, and sanctions/embargoes
- Advise Walt Disney Imagineering, Studio & Production Technology, and Parks logistics teams on compliance risk
- Interface regularly with senior leadership across the company and globally
