Lab Technician – Nuclear Manufacturing

About the Role

Manufacture and quality-test time-sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in Cardinal Health's regulated nuclear manufacturing facility. This is an overnight/rotating shift position working in ISO cleanroom environments.

Schedule

• Sunday–Thursday 7:30pm–4:00am, alternating Monday–Friday 3:00am–11:30am (rotating)
• Must be flexible for varying days, shifts, and overtime

What You'll Do

• Manufacture radioactive isotopes (synthesis setup, hot cell manipulations, distribution)
• Conduct quality control testing using gas chromatograph, dose calibrator, HPLC, and other equipment
• Work in ISO 7 cleanroom producing product and customer vials
• Perform environmental and personnel monitoring in ISO 5/7/8 environments
• Coordinate daily production run schedule; maintain production records
• Manage SAP Inventory; perform radiation safety tasks and general lab cleaning

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; science education (Chemistry, Biology) preferred
• Lab experience highly preferred; 0–1 years experience
• Must be able to work overnight shift
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds; manual dexterity required
