About the Role
Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network delivering fast, reliable broadband globally. As an Embedded Software Engineer on the Optical Inter-Satellite Link (OISL) team, you'll develop software for cutting-edge satellite communication hardware.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and test embedded software for OISL systems
- Work closely with hardware engineers on firmware integration
- Debug and optimize software for real-time satellite environments
- Contribute to architecture, design reviews, and documentation
Requirements
- 3+ years embedded software development experience (C/C++)
- Experience with RTOS and hardware-software co-design
- Familiarity with communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, etc.)
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
