Compensation & Payroll Analyst

About the Role

Location: Burbank, CA (hybrid) Compensation: $85,000–$100,000

Pixelogic Media Partners, LLC provides technology solutions to the entertainment industry, helping Hollywood studios and content owners deliver content to global audiences via scripting, subtitling, dubbing, and more.

Job Responsibilities

• Compensation Analysis: Participate in salary surveys, analyze market trends, benchmark jobs internally and externally
• Merit Increase: Assist with merit increase process; develop input sheets
• Data Analysis & Compliance: Conduct equity analyses; ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Clean and analyze data from ATS, payroll, and employee surveys
• Metric Development: Develop HR dashboards, KPIs, and visualizations
• Strategic Insights: Provide insights for HR leaders on recruitment effectiveness and employee engagement
• Payroll Processing: Process bi-weekly payroll including wages, overtime, and deductions; benefits billing reconciliation
• Compliance & Tax: Ensure compliance with tax laws; prepare year-end filings
• Reporting: Prepare payroll reports for finance and HR; assist with audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, human resources, accounting, or related field
• Advanced Excel skills (modeling, formulas, pivot tables); experience with HRIS or compensation software
• Strong analytical skills: identify performance drivers, interpret trends, variance analysis
• Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance
• Ability to handle sensitive financial and personnel information
