About the Role
Provides personal nursing care to patients on the Neuro Telemetry unit under the direction of a licensed RN. Performs activities of daily living support and reports patients' status and concerns to the RN.
What You'll Do
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (nutrition, hydration, elimination, personal care, positioning, restraints, restorative care)
- Take vital signs including pulse and blood pressure
- Help patients with bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Perform clerical duties and provide assessment data to the RN
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification: Required
- BLS certification: Required
- High School diploma/GED: Preferred
- Phlebotomy Certification: Preferred
