About the Role

Clinical Nurse Specialist – NICU, Full-Time Days, Exempt, at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. Reports to the Director of Education. The 18-bed, Level III NICU provides advanced, family-centered care for premature and critically ill newborns.

What You'll Do

• Ensure delivery of quality patient care through research and quality improvement activities
• Participate in expert clinical practice, education, research, consultation, and clinical leadership
• Develop programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Consult with clinical practitioners on care planning; evaluate staff

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing
• California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire
• 3 years of clinical experience in a Regional or Community Level III NICU
• Preferred: teaching experience; ACCNS-N, CNS California Certification, NRP Instructor Level, RNC-NIC
