The Associate, Americas Brand Commercialization is an entry-level brand role, ideal for someone passionate about brands and keen to build a career in business management, strategy, and brand. The primary focus is timely, accurate review of brand assets and marketing collateral to ensure alignment with Disney's global standards — protecting brand integrity across high-visibility touchpoints for Disney and Pixar. About 70-80% of the role is managing digital approval systems and workflows.
The role also provides day-to-day support to the Brand Commercialization team across regional initiatives, coordination, meeting management, presentations, and reporting — offering exposure to how brand, retail, licensing, and marketing teams collaborate across the Americas (North America and Latin America). It reports to the Manager, Americas Brand Commercialization and is based in Glendale, CA.
What You'll Do
- Review and approve consumer-facing marketing and retail assets from licensees and retail partners against brand guidelines
- Manage approval workflows, systems, and timelines; escalate when needed
- Apply brand standards consistently across the Americas for Disney and Pixar
- Support regional brand and commercialization work, tracking activity and reporting
- Assist with presentations and team materials
- Improve approval processes and system efficiency
- Coordinate team meetings, agendas, recap notes, and follow-ups
Requirements
- 2+ years of brand, franchise, business and/or marketing experience (including internships)
- Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, Keynote & PowerPoint, asset management software, and Canva; familiarity with AI tools (Claude, CoPilot, ChatGPT)
- Ability to create compelling presentations and craft story to motivate partners
- Excellent communication skills and confident presence
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of the organization
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, matrix-structured environment
- Administrative experience: meeting coordination, agendas, notes, routing materials, research
Compensation
The hiring range for this position is $72,000.00 to $96,500.00 per year.
