About the Role
Provides strategic leadership to advance organizational excellence in clinical quality, safety, and operational performance across Adventist Health hospitals, markets, and service lines. Establishes enterprise-wide structures, governance frameworks, and accountability mechanisms for evidence-based improvement, partnering with the C-suite, Board Quality Committee, and market leadership.
What You'll Do
- Lead quality and performance improvement strategy, providing executive briefings on quality performance and benchmarks
- Direct enterprise-wide programs driving performance in mortality, readmissions, length of stay, and patient experience
- Lead deployment of Lean, Six Sigma, and other performance improvement methodologies across hospitals and service lines
- Build and lead a team of Directors, Managers, and quality professionals across the system
- Represent the organization externally with regulators, payers, and national quality organizations
Requirements
- Master's degree in Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Medicine, or equivalent required
- 7 years' health care experience and 5 years' leadership experience in quality/patient safety required
- CPHQ, CPPS, Six Sigma Green Belt, or Lean Certification required within two years of hire; clinical background required
