About the role
Supervises the overall needs and provides day-to-day production and financial management for alternative (unscripted) series, with a consistent presence on production sets.
What you'll do
- Oversee formulation of and adherence to budgets and production models/plans; track crew labor and vendor costs
- Oversee and approve Call Sheets, Production Reports, Deal Memos, and Work/Rental Authorizations
- Participate in production scouts and planning; devise production schedules
- Coordinate vendor selection and equipment; act as liaison to WBTV Labor Relations
- Facilitate resolution of logistical and technical problems
- Approve all hires for staff and crew for each assigned production
Requirements
- 7+ years television (scripted & non-scripted) and/or film/video experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with all aspects of TV production and post-production; accounting knowledge for production cost review
