About the Role
Walt Disney Studios is looking for a positive and reliable VFX Coordinator to support the VFX team — screening calls, managing the calendar and meetings, travel arrangements, expense reports, and reroute requests for the VP, VFX. Prior experience in film production and VFX required.
What You'll Do
- Evaluates weekly Production Reports and performs comparative analyses of key shots and delivery dates
- Liaises between VFX Producer, studio executives, vendors, and attorneys to draft vendor/crew contracts
- Manages and maintains the VFX Database of Supervisors, Producers, Vendors, and crew worldwide
- Coordinates between studios, filmmakers, and vendors to arrange VFX reviews
- Tracks shot progress and ensures films stay on schedule for final delivery
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in film production and/or Visual Effects (VFX)
- Experience managing a heavy-volume desk
- File Maker Pro, Aspera, BOX, and Airtable knowledge strongly preferred
- Available to work evenings as needed
