Temporary Donor Recruitment Associate

This is a temporary position expected to last up to 6–9 months.

Job Summary

Assist with blood drive management activities, cover account manager vacancies, conduct ad hoc support tasks, and maintain accurate records to ensure blood drives achieve donation goals. Provide support, development, and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist account managers to ensure blood drives achieve goal (on-site recruitment, presentations to sponsoring organizations)
• Provide oversight and record keeping via the Hemasphere online recruitment and scheduling system
• Provide routine organizational and operational support to blood drive coordinators
• Schedule education programs for sponsor contacts, recruitment committees, and volunteers as needed
• Cover vacant territories and work with local volunteers and leadership on drive management
• Maintain accurate system records for tracking and statistical reporting on sponsor group performance
• Use organizational tools, technology, and strategy to enhance customer service and efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 1 year of related experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance, and negotiation preferred
• Good organizational skills; ability to handle multiple priorities
• Good oral and written communication, training, and presentation skills strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required; must provide own transportation
• Travel throughout assigned territory required
• Sales or marketing experience preferred

Pay

Salary range for this position (CA): $70,304.00 annually. Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location where the work is primarily performed.
