Training

We provide paid training – no prior medical experience required! Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Job Overview

Utilize your healthcare and/or customer service skills to assist with every step of the blood collection process at fixed site locations – creating a welcoming environment for volunteer donors and following all safety procedures while collecting lifesaving blood donations delivered to hospitals. Paid phlebotomy training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Personally connect with donors and help them understand the impact of their donation
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming, friendly environment for repeat donors
• Stay detail-oriented to ensure collected blood meets goals and regulatory requirements

Standard Schedule

• Variable schedule, which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Schedule provided two to three weeks in advance

Pay

Starting rate: $26.01/hour

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree OR a combination of education and work experience
• 1+ year of customer service experience in a public setting
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull, manual dexterity, and stand/sit for long periods; adaptable to irregular hours
• Basic computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.)
• Prior leadership experience
