Target Security Specialist at the Van Nuys Target (14920 Raymer St). Starting pay $21.25/hr.

The Assets Protection team keeps guests, team members, and the brand secure, prevents theft and fraud, and ensures product is available for shoppers.

What you'll do

• Use intelligence-led tactics to keep the store safe and secure
• Lead crisis response, safety, and crowd management
• De-escalate situations and manage physical security controls
• Monitor and operate Target's video surveillance system
• Document cases accurately using case management systems
• Build relationships with store leaders and public safety officials, including law enforcement

Requirements

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a varied schedule including nights and weekends
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert throughout shifts
• Strong communication and situational awareness skills
