Supervisor, Patient Access - Admitting

About the role

Providence Tarzana Medical Center is hiring a Patient Access Supervisor to direct and supervise Admitting and Communication departmental operations, including patient registration, switchboard/paging systems, and the physician answering service. The role monitors and evaluates departmental staff registering inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients, and is responsible for accurate final patient billing and coordinating the electronic billing system and cashier office.

Requirements

• California Fire and Life Safety Card (National Organization) within 30 days of hire
• 1 year of supervisor experience
• Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field preferred
• 2 years of experience in patient accounts, admissions, or patient registration preferred
