About the Role

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. The position provides an opportunity to excel in a growing, high impact, customer focused role — working both independently and as a member of a team to positively impact the lives of others.

Essential Functions

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and demonstrating compassion
• Give warm and friendly greetings, maintain eye contact, and offer help locating additional items
• Accurately perform cashier duties — handling cash, checks and credit card transactions
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs

Required Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age

Physical Requirements

• Remaining upright on feet for sustained periods
• Lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently
• Close visual acuity for computer terminal and reading work

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

Schedule & Pay

• Anticipated weekly hours: 24 (Part time)
• Pay: $18.97/hr
