Pharmacy Technician

Job Purpose and Summary

Pharmacy Technicians play a critical role in supporting pharmacy teams to consistently deliver on CVS Health's brand promise. You will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within your store.

What You'll Do

• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
• Complete basic inventory activities as directed by pharmacy leadership
• Contribute to a high-performing team, embracing a growth mindset
• Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs
• Comply with all relevant laws and CVS policies
• Where permissible, support immunizations: additional training, patient education, monitoring for adverse reactions

Required Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements
• At least 16 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent (or actively enrolled)

Essential Functions

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Customer service orientation; active listening; mathematical reasoning
• Physical: remain upright for extended periods; lift up to 20 lbs occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting

Schedule & Pay

• Anticipated weekly hours: 40 (Full time)
• Pay: $20.12/hr
