Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family — excelling in a growing, high-impact, customer-focused role, working both independently and as a member of a team.

Essential Functions

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and proactively identifying and resolving service issues.
• Focus on the customer with a warm, friendly greeting and help locating items when needed.
• Accurately perform cashier duties — handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions per company policy.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory management tasks.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, keeping departments stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth opportunities.
• Embrace and advocate for CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Able to remain upright for sustained periods; lift/exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, including overhead lifting.
• Close visual acuity for tasks like reading and viewing a computer terminal.
• Preferred: previous retail or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Schedule & Pay

• Anticipated weekly hours: 29 (part-time)
• Pay range: $18.97/hr
