Starbucks Barista Trainer

About the Role

As a Starbucks Barista Trainer at Macy's Glendale Galleria, you support the Starbucks Manager in running an efficient, professional, and profitable Starbucks operation. You provide leadership, training, and coaching to the barista team while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do

• Follow and ensure team follows Food Division Standards and Best Practices
• Provide leadership and direct associates in delivering food products and exceptional customer service
• Ensure team prepares and presents drip coffee, cold beverages, espresso bar, and pastry products to Starbucks standards
• Monitor food quality using Starbucks checklists; maintain safety and sanitation standards
• Provide ongoing training, feedback, coaching, and motivation to maximize team performance
• Assist in ordering, receiving, and managing inventory best practices

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of related experience
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
• Involves standing for at least two consecutive hours; lifting at least 25 lbs; stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders

Schedule

Part-time: typically 12–24 hours per week. All schedules include weekend shifts.
