Beauty Advisor – MAC

About the Role

As a Beauty Advisor for MAC at Macy's Glendale Galleria, you are the trusted expert customers turn to for all things beauty. You provide personalized shopping experiences through expert advice, product demonstrations, and makeup and skincare consultations. Building lasting client relationships is at the heart of this role.

What You'll Do

• Deliver personalized beauty experiences — build customer relationships, uncover needs, and demonstrate product application
• Drive sales and client loyalty through clienteling tools, product launches, and sales events
• Proactively grow and manage a loyal client base through follow-up and virtual outreach
• Maintain an organized, shoppable counter and sales floor; refresh signage and pricing
• Stay current on beauty trends, new arrivals, and vendor education
• Share loyalty program benefits; open credit accounts for new customers
• Use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions

Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience required
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to communicate and understand employment policies and safety procedures in English
• Frequently stand for 2+ consecutive hours; lift at least 25 lbs; stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders
• Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment

Schedule

Full-time (typically 30+ hours per week). All schedules include weekend shifts.
