Shift Supervisor

Position Summary

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance, building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

Management

• Works effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervises the store's crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicates information between store management and crews.

Customer Service

• Assists customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promotes CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, thank).
• Handles customer relations issues per company policy.
• Maintains customer/patient confidentiality.

Merchandise/Presentation

• Prices merchandise and stocks shelves.
• Executes displays, signage, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Executes display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
• Resets departments following planograms (POGs).

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime as needed).
• Preferred: experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Schedule & Pay

• Anticipated weekly hours: 29 (part-time)
• Pay range: $19.26/hr
