About the Role

HomeState is a Tex-Mex kitchen in Southern California serving tacos, queso, brisket, and margaritas. "We serve hospitality first, tacos second." This Service Team Member role is based at the Sherman Oaks location.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests and work various front-of-house roles (front door, beverage, expo, runner, busser, packer)
• Guide guests through the menu and communicate allergy information
• Maintain sanitation standards and store cleanliness
• Work collaboratively with the team
• Attend shifts, training, and meetings reliably

Requirements

• 1-2 years restaurant industry experience preferred
• Valid Food Handlers Certification Card (or completion within 30 days)
• Able to stand 6+ hours, lift 40 lbs, bend and reach overhead
• Available weekends and variable shifts
• Genuine passion for food and hospitality

Schedule

Weekend and variable shift availability required.

Pay & Benefits

• $24-$28/hr with tip share (base rate $18.75/hr)
