Service Technician

About the role

The Service Technician services and repairs vehicles as assigned by management, following established standards and procedures. May also conduct pre-delivery service on new vehicles. Sign-on bonus currently available.

What you'll do

• Perform quality repair work in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Check fluids and maintenance-related parts; top off or replace as required
• Perform routine service inspections and standard maintenance jobs
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality work was completed
• Complete system diagnostics and automotive troubleshooting
• Communicate with service advisors on work status and estimated completion times
• Maintain an organized and clean shop area

Requirements

• 3–5 years' experience preferred; Toyota dealership experience preferred
• ASE certification(s) preferred
• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary automotive training preferred
• Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
