About the role
Delivers coordinated nursing care for outpatients in a clinic setting according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines.
What you'll do
- Collects relevant patient data, analyzes it, and develops a care plan; implements and evaluates outcomes
- Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team in a safe, healing environment
- Prepares patient, room, and equipment for surgical procedures and assists physician with minor surgery
- Delegates and coordinates duties of healthcare team members
- Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Hospital or physician's office experience preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California required
- CPR/BLS certification required
