RN III – Gastroenterology Clinic (Per Diem, Days)

Job Summary

Provides professional nursing care using the nursing process according to established standards, serving as a leader of the healthcare team.

Leadership & Nursing Process

• Serves as healthcare team leader; delegates and ensures accountability; mentors and coaches team members
• Develops individualized care plans reflecting assessment, planning, and evaluation
• Ensures multidisciplinary planning, patient/family education, and patient safety around medications and procedures

Documentation & Clinical Outcomes

• Maintains accurate, legible, dated charting reflecting the nursing process
• Discusses findings with physicians and the healthcare team
• Participates in performance improvement activities

Requirements

• 1 year of recent (within 3 years) GI/Endoscopy experience, OR 2 years of recent adult experience in PACU, ED, DOU, Critical Care, or procedural sedation
• California RN license, ACLS, PALS, BLS (AHA), basic arrhythmia course
• Successful completion of a didactic and clinical training program

Per Diem, Day shift (7:30am–4:00pm), onsite at Panorama City Medical Offices 5

Pay & Benefits
