RN - Emergency, Level II Trauma

About the role

RN — Emergency Department at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center's Multi-Specialty, Level II Trauma Center in Mission Hills. Full-time, 12-hour Night shifts.

The ED is a Level II Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, STEMI Receiving Center, Paramedic Base Station, and EDAP. Recipient of the ENA Lantern Award for excellence in emergency care. Holy Cross is a Magnet® designated hospital rated among the best regional hospitals in 10 types of care.

What you'll do

• Provide direct emergency nursing care in a high-acuity, trauma-level environment
• Triage patients and rapidly assess and manage life-threatening conditions
• Collaborate with trauma surgeons, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain competencies for STEMI, stroke, and pediatric emergency care protocols

Requirements

• Active CA RN license
• BLS and ACLS required; TNCC preferred
• Emergency nursing experience strongly preferred
