What You'll Do

• Contact members of charged-off loans to recover charged-off dollars and mitigate losses
• Establish repayment schedules and negotiate potential lump-sum settlement agreements
• Utilize credit reports and skip tracing tools to locate customers and update account information
• Assess charged-off consumer loan accounts for collectability
• Evaluate accounts for potential assignment to outside counsel, repossession, or collection agencies
• Review impound and lien sale notices on charged-off collateral

Requirements

• Experience in consumer loan collections, recovery, or related financial services role
• Knowledge of collections regulations (FDCPA, FCRA) and credit union or banking operations
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency with collections software and skip tracing tools

Pay & Benefits

$30.71–$46.06/hr
