Personal Banker

About the Role

Citi is hiring a Personal Banker (SAFE Act) at one of its San Fernando Valley branches. An entry-level position supporting the customer service team in sales, products, and service activities to build client loyalty and increase consumer sales.

Pay: $58,190–$81,210/year Employment: Full-time | On-site

What You'll Do

• Work with business credit requests under $250K; recognize and refer larger lending opportunities
• Cross-sell treasury and related small business products
• Build referral business through Centers of Influence and Member Get Member programs
• Assist in strategies to grow the small business client base
• Deliver client services via outbound and inbound calls to acquire and deepen relationships
• Coach Tellers and branch staff on products and special programs
• Use digital tools and technology to uncover opportunities and present product offers

Requirements

• 0–2 years of relevant experience
• Previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies
• NMLS registration; SAFE Act compliant
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
