About the role
Fresenius Medical Care is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT/CCHT) for dialysis care. Functions as part of the dialysis health care team, providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
What you'll do
- Set up and operate hemodialysis machines
- Provide patient-specific education on adequacy measurements and treatment-related procedures
- Assist other health care members in maintaining a safe, clean working environment
- Support Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and CQI activities
- Actively participate in process improvement activities
Requirements
- CHT required; TTS after successful training
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Reliable and compassionate patient care skills
