Patient Care Technician

About the role

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at their Van Nuys clinic (14434 Sherman Way) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis setting. PCTs provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision.

What you'll do

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and care team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

Pay & benefits
