About The Role

Prime Healthcare (Sherman Oaks / Encino hospitals) is seeking a full-time Patient Account Registrar for the Admitting department.

Responsibilities

• Register and admit patients accurately in the hospital information system
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-authorizations
• Collect co-pays and patient financial information
• Explain patient rights, privacy policies, and consent forms
• Coordinate with clinical staff on bed assignments and patient flow
• Maintain accurate records and comply with HIPAA requirements

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hospital admitting or patient access preferred
• Familiarity with insurance verification and medical terminology
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay & Benefits

$23.00–$26.36/hr. Full-time.
