About the Role
A Publishing Intern to join the records team in Calabasas, CA, assisting & learning catalog management, metadata, and creative operations. Paid internship, not remote. Reports to the Insomniac Music Group Publishing Manager.
What You'll Do
- Track ISWCs and audit publishing records for accuracy
- Add split information for exploited songs in DISCO
- Tag and organize the full catalog in DISCO
- Upload audio to the Master Publishing Rights sheet
- Support writer catalog cleanup and spotlight creation
- Create writer spotlights for socials/marketing/sync
- Assist with publishing social channels, bios, and website content
Requirements
- Must be 18+ and currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Must be able to work out of the Calabasas, CA office
- Typical commitment is 16-29 hours per week
- Experienced with Google Sheets/Excel; comfortable learning new catalog platforms (DISCO)
- Passion for music publishing, A&R, or the music business
