About the Role
Materials and Process Engineer at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Woodland Hills, CA. What You'll Do
- Define engineering requirements to develop, select, or recommend parts, materials, processes, and manufacturing technologies
- Qualify new materials (adhesives, epoxies, coatings), parts, and processes to meet requirements
- Manage test and qualification activities
- Support product design in accordance with contractual and regulatory obligations
Qualifications
- Degree in Materials Science, Mechanical/Aerospace/Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Experience with materials selection and qualification for aerospace/defense applications
- U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Required to work on site full-time
Pay & Benefits
- $83,400–$125,200/yr
