About the Role
The YouTube Localization team enables worldwide distribution of content by overseeing localization, media asset management, quality control, and delivery across Disney's YouTube portfolio. The Manager, YouTube Localization leads operational execution of localization workflows, based in Glendale, CA.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of localized content, from asset intake through QC and delivery
- Manage localization vendors: bids, deliverables, and timelines
- Maintain localization records and documentation (Airtable, Box)
- Coordinate with the Mastering team on technical specifications
- Generate and distribute project trackers, flagging milestones and issues
- Track localization budgets, costs, and invoicing
- Liaise with YouTube Creative and Publishing teams
Requirements
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in digital media operations, localization, technical QC, and vendor management
