NBCUniversal is seeking a Manager, Events & Special Projects to support the planning and execution of internal and external events across Universal Television Entertainment and NBCUniversal. This is a hybrid role based in Universal City, CA, reporting to the SVP of Events & Operations.
About the Role
This role leads event production from concept through completion. You will create vision, operate with precision, and have flawless follow-through on moments that connect people, talent, partners, and audiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead event production from concept through completion for internal and external events
- Manage creative design, venue and vendor sourcing, invitations, food and beverage, transportation, contracts, budgets, attendee experience, and onsite operations
- Partner across the organization with senior stakeholders
- Manage event budgets and vendor relationships
- Coordinate logistics for large-scale events and activations
- Support special projects as assigned by senior leadership
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in event management or event production
- Experience managing complex, high-profile events with multiple stakeholders
- Strong project management skills: budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in entertainment or media industry events
- Experience with talent events, press junkets, or industry conferences
Salary Range
$90,000–$110,000/year plus comprehensive benefits.
