About the Role
An Operations Manager focused on back of house (BOH) operations, managing multiple departments within Insomniac concerts. Reports to the Senior Festival Producer. Hybrid schedule, with on-site festival responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Manage all departmental planning and execution of back of house operations
- Build radio channel matrix, coordinate equipment orders and pick-up hours
- Manage all load-in and truck stop operations, including hiring and operations planning
- Forecast staff catering needs and coordinate dining operations with vendors
- Build a staff advancing plan & timeline and lead the advancing team
- Manage festival guest list requests and operations, and audit allocations
- On-site: manage the production and operations runner and coordinate daily production meetings
Requirements
- Proven experience managing back of house or event operations at scale
- Strong budget and vendor management skills
- Comfortable working hybrid with regular on-site festival travel
