About the Role
ABC7 is seeking a Freelance Graphic Artist/Broadcast Designer. Shifts vary from Monday–Friday early-morning to late-evening, plus weekend days/nights. This is an on-site role at a Company-designated location.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with Content/Marketing and News Departments on news and digital graphics
- Design and produce creative concepts for key artwork across all platforms
- Ensure visual content resonates with audiences across platforms
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in broadcast television
- Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong portfolio with an elevated design aesthetic
- Knowledge of current events — news, entertainment, sports
Preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Ross XPression Designer/Maps familiarity
- BA/BFA in Graphic Design or Digital Media
Pay
$47.09/hr (IATSE union rate, Glendale, CA)
