Front Desk / Host

About the Role

The Front Desk/Host at Dave & Buster's is the first impression guests receive — a strong communicator who guides guests through their retail, game rental, and dining experiences.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a positive attitude and enthusiasm
• Coordinate game rentals, merchandise sales, and phone inquiries
• Manage seating rotation and wait times; communicate with guests and team members
• Process transactions including To Go orders and merchandise sales
• Ensure front desk area is stocked with menus, silverware, Power cards, and gift cards
• Drive table turn timing by scouting and bussing tables as needed
• Notify manager of any dissatisfied guests
• Bid farewell to guests and invite them to return

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Strong communication skills; ability to read and communicate in English
• Ability to smile frequently and remain calm with dissatisfied guests
• Ability to walk or stand for entire shift; lift up to 30 lbs
• Availability for days, nights, and weekends
• Restaurant, retail, or cashier experience preferred but not required

Pay & Benefits

$18.42–$20/hr · Part-time
