About the Role
Under general supervision of the Early Care & Learning Facilities Supervisor, the Food Delivery Driver distributes food to ECL centers where children are present, across the San Fernando and Antelope Valleys. Part-time, 25 hours/week, onsite with travel to assigned locations.
What You'll Do
- Food Deliveries (75%) — deliver meals on schedule, complete delivery sheets, load/unload insulated containers, daily vehicle inspections, follow DOT regulations
- Quality Assurance (10%) — ensure food safety/sanitation compliance, spot-check quality
- Cleaning and Maintenance (15%) — keep vehicle and equipment clean, assist with side work
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 6 months food handling/delivery experience
- 3 years of licensed driving experience, including 6 months of familiarity with SFV/Antelope Valley roads
- Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Basic computer proficiency
Schedule
- Part-time, 25 hours/week
