Case Specialist Trainee

About the Role

Under general supervision, the Case Specialist Trainee-Temporary receives on-the-job training and must pass written and practicum exams to demonstrate the skillset to perform the full range of Case Specialist I duties.

This is a temporary, term-limited assignment (12 weeks / 60 working days) that can lead to regular employment as a Case Specialist I upon successful completion. As a CCRC Temp, trainees do not accrue vacation or receive paid holidays during the program.

The role performs all duties associated with the Subsidized Child Care Program, including parent orientations, screenings, certification/recertification, data entry, and maintaining accurate case files.

• Case Processing (70%)
• Client Interaction and Support (20%)
• Data Entry / Documentation Maintenance (10%)

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related work experience; or
• Associate's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, Social Work, Family Studies, or a related field (as approved); or
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with Windows-based programs and data entry

• 5 days onsite
