About the Role

Under the Director of Internal Audit, the Fiscal Monitor ensures compliance with laws, regulations, contracts, and internal policies — monitoring fiscal operations for adherence to Federal and State rules and the terms/conditions of all awards (revenue, expenses, reimbursement, operating budgets).

What You'll Do

Program Monitoring (50%)

• Monitor fiscal operations for compliance with Federal/State laws and award terms
• Ensure the annual operating budget aligns with program design and goals
• Review revenues, expenses, payroll labor distributions, cost allocations, and accruals against contract/grant budgets
• Conduct in-person audits across multiple offices and counties (1–2 site visits/quarter)

Technical Assistance (30%)

• Build relationships with CCRC departments and community partners on coordinated service planning
• Support development of ongoing compliance monitoring tools

Regulations (20%)

• Stay current on Federal/State fiscal regulations, policies, and contract requirements
• Support documentation and reporting on compliance and monitoring activities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of professional accounting, auditing, or finance experience with a fiscal auditing/monitoring emphasis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
• Strong analytical skills; advanced knowledge of fiscal laws, cost principles, and budget monitoring

Pay

Semimonthly rate of $3,669.33 (approximately $7,338.66/month).
