Engineering Supervisor

About the Role

NBCUniversal is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to provide supervision of the Engineering team at low and high-rise buildings, overseeing central plants, mechanical systems, controls, plumbing, electrical, building envelopes, and grounds across multiple Los Angeles area sites.

What You'll Do

• Execute weekly workplans: preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance work orders via CMMS
• Support central chiller plants and other critical infrastructure
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Monitor Tridium N4 BAS to optimize energy use and systems performance
• Participate in and support annual LAFD REG4 testing
• Oversee vendor and third-party contracted services
• Enforce safety, fire prevention regulations, and safe working habits across the team
• Support multiple sites across the Los Angeles area
• Maintain OSHA 30-hour certification

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 7+ years in building engineering or a related field
• Working knowledge of Class A commercial building operations and Los Angeles REG 4
• Proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and BAS systems
• Valid state Class C Driver's License

Preferred

• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification
• Tridium N4 knowledge; EPA Universal Certification for refrigerants
• Relevant trade licenses (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, low voltage)

Pay & Benefits

$95,000–$110,000/yr. Medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement.
