Emergency Technician Per Diem Nights

Emergency technician at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, Burbank, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 12-hour Night shifts.

Under the general supervision of the Emergency Department Nurse Manager, Supervisor, or Patient Care Provider, performs basic emergency medical/trauma procedures and patient care as directed. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient populations (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics), and participates in related continuing education.

Required Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: California Emergency Medical Technician License, California EMT-Advanced License, California Paramedic License, or National Provider BLS – American Heart.
• 1 year patient care or clinical experience.
