The Rehabilitation PPS (Prospective Payment System) Coordinator is responsible for the overall comprehensive data collection of the patient as the foundation for planning and delivering care. The PPS Coordinator oversees the accuracy and completion of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI) and inputs data for electronic transmission to the government, monitoring and coordinating the interdisciplinary plan of care, intake, discharge planning, and continuing post-acute care needs of assigned patients.
Requirements
- Degree: completion of LVN, RN, PT, OT, or SLP program, or a Bachelor's degree.
- Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License.
- 5 years in a hospital environment.
- 3 years of rehab-related experience in a hospital or community setting.
Nice to have
- Advanced training/certification in computer skills and medical coding.
- 1 year of case management in IRF or as a PPS Coordinator.
Schedule
Full time, 8-hour day shifts.
