Donor Center Phlebotomist

About the Role

Utilize healthcare and/or customer service skills to assist with every step of the blood collection process at fixed site locations. No prior medical experience required — paid phlebotomy training provided. Phlebotomy experience preferred.

What You'll Do

• Take time to personally connect with donors — listen to their stories and help them understand the impact of their donation
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and friendly environment so volunteer donors feel comfortable returning
• Be detail-oriented to ensure blood collected meets goals, regulatory requirements, and can be safely transfused

Schedule

Variable schedule which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Schedule provided two to three weeks in advance.

Requirements

• Associate's degree OR a combination of education and work experience
• Minimum one year customer service experience in a public setting
• Current, valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Physical requirements: ability to lift, push, or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs; good manual dexterity; ability to sit or stand for long periods; adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes
• Basic computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.)
• Prior leadership experience

Pay & Benefits

Starting rate: $26.01/hour
