Delivery Driver - Pharmacy Services

About the role

Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and route requirements. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers per prescribed safety standards and DOT requirements.

What you'll do

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers.
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation.
• Processes packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs.
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus.
• Minimum 18 years of age (driving a company-owned vehicle).
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions, day or night.
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile, and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-call/holidays as part of a rotation; flexibility for various shifts or overtime.
• Ability to use computers and tablets.

Schedule

40 hours per week. Monday, Tuesday, Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Saturday and Sunday 4:00am-12:30pm. Must be willing to work on-call and holiday rotations.

Pay & benefits

Pay rate: $21.30 per hour. Bonus eligible: No.
